For those on insulin when you are away from home in a period when you will need an injection, how do you do that? Since it should be kept refrigerated, if youre not going to have access to one, what do you do?

I use Lantus for Type I diabetes for several years and only recently started with very high BGs (250-300), despite reducing my carb intake (went on a protein diet for a while, though, lost some weight).
